Clarification on CLEANING OF RESIN.

Clarification on CLEANING OF RESIN.

I hope everyone is enjoying the Sultan's Royal Hojari! I received an email tonight from a concerned client that wanted make sure that the cleaning method I use with the resin was safe because they like to chew it.

Even though it was only one email about the matter, I feel compelled to clarify my previous statement about my secret cleaning method. It did cross my mind when I was writing the last post regarding 'cleaning' that the word itself conjures images of chemicals and guys in hazmat suits these days.

In the nearly 7 years I have been selling pure resins I have never bought or sold ANYTHING that had pesticides, chemicals, additives etc. My entire philosophy with the company is to source only the rarest purest high grade resin and offer it at exceptional prices.

The thought occurred to me some time ago to find a way to remove the powder that accumulates from the resin rubbing together in shipping all the way from the deserts of Oman. I was tired of endless emails in the beginning of my ventures in selling the resins saying that the resin was not green at all. People didn't realize that the white powder hides the true amazing colors of these amazing resins and a little wipe of the resin will show that. Its a sensible response as I myself sometimes when I get a shipment feel as though I am going to be disappointed.

So my cleaning method only uses a very fast and brief fine mist of pure water to dampen the resin slightly. then I dry the resin with very hot dry air, 0% humidity,  in a fast manner that mimics the desert environment. I also have special drying racks. This brings the resin back to a state of when it was on the tree before tapping or better. It also makes the resin true colors shine.

From tree to your home the resin is first scraped off the tree into a bag after being in the environment, then sorted on a dirt floor in Oman, then sold to a supplier which then sorts it also, then its packed up and shipped to people like me (that's the short version of the process). The point is that dust from the desert, dirt floors in Oman and so on and so on is exposed to the resin. I know that when I make my frankincense tea or water I feel a whole heck of a lot better knowing that some sort of process has been done to mildly and naturally clean it, especially coming from places like the rural middle-east.

Frankincense is a natural antiseptic so there is never any danger in using resin that are not cleaned FYI, the tree partially does that for you. But those true greens and blues, oh my---and  a little less desert dust is good too.

Anyway, just wanted to clarify and let you all know that this is the safest, highest grade of sacra you can use for whatever you want, whether it be tea, water, chewing or burning.

On another note, the first 5kg of Sultan and Lemon Lime is almost gone. I will be getting another 10kg in the next 2-5 days and I will send out another news letter letting everyone know.

Enjoy and most of all be safe out there!!
